Research activities are unequally spread across the world, leading to lags in the development of lower income countries. This project will initiate cooperative exchange between researchers from countries of different levels of research investment to benefit both parties.
In the spirit of the Lindau Guidelines (notably 2, 3, and 8), this project aims at improving the transfer of skills between researchers across countries. The team, gathering scientists originating from different countries with different levels of investment in R&D, will brainstorm a cooperative project including researchers from lower income countries. The initiative might take the form of seminars, workshops, internships, mentoring, scientific visits, instrument exchange etc. Examples will be given from the ADARA association, where researchers from several countries promote scientific research in North-Africa.
