Undergraduate students are vital contributors to science and will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the scientific community as well as broader society. Our Lindau alumni group will address Goal 8: Support Talent Worldwide, on how graduate admissions committees can best evaluate undergrads interested in pursuing graduate school during these uncertain times. In 48 hours, we will discuss and research how to modernise the graduate admissions process to best address inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities during and after COVID-19. Our report on improved evaluation practices and innovative initiatives will incorporate both international and interdisciplinary perspectives.
