As outlined in the Lindau Guidelines 2020, publishing plays an indispensable role in disseminating and promoting research. In order for the research community to receive maximised support from publishers, researchers will need to reach a consensus on how publishers should work with the research community to achieve a win-win situation. The discussion is expected to yield a synopsis of recommended best practice for publishers.
