I propose to develop a new international institution – World Science Foundation – with two main purposes: to encourage global scientific progress and to increase public acknowledgement of modern research.
Unfortunately, nowadays the tremendous achievements of science are still esoteric area. Media news rarely discuss research progress and prefer constantly produce feeling of decadence, though Hans Rosling beautifully showed us the opposite is true. Finally, research financing is strongly coupled with GDP and has low priority in budget. To solve these issues, the proposed organisation will evaluate hundreds of research topics and issue multiple material and intangible incentives to promote scientific community – real superheroes of our time. My team will work for 48 h on developing financial streams, evaluation ethic, organisational structure, and a set of global problems to solve.
